William G. "Billy" Houck, Jr., 52, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, December 5, 2012 in St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born on January 7, 1960 in Tiffin, Ohio to William G. and Bernadine A. (Roe) Houck, Sr. On February 14, 1996, he married Barbara Marker.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, Brad (Amanda) Marker of Republic; daughter, Kelly (Carl Prenzlin) Marker of Tiffin; brother, Andrew (Carolyn) Houck of Tiffin; sister, Nelene (Lanny) Keckler of Tiffin; and 6 grandchildren, Brittain A. Marker, Brooklynn R. Marker, Alyvia M. Roth, Aydin B. Marker, Brayden J. Prenzlin and Baylee C. Prenzlin.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Billy graduated in 1978 from Tiffin Columbian High School and in 1985 from Terra Technical College. He was a member of Tiffin First Church of the Nazarene and worked at Black Hawk Automotive in Upper Sandusky. He was a Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed playing cards with his family. Billy loved is dog, Daisy and his fish and birds. Most of all Billy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424, with Rev. John Wildman officiating. There will be no burial at this time.
Friends may visit with the family from 9:30-11:00 A.M. on Saturday morning at the funeral home.
