William Michael "Mike" McCaulla, 68, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday evening, May 13, 2015 at Heartland of Perrysburg in Perrysburg, Ohio.

He was born on April 11, 1947, in Urbana, Ohio, to William and Mary Elizabeth (Woods) McCaulla. On February 17, 1968, he married Diana Lee "Dede" Muller at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Tiffin.
Survivors include his wife, Dede; his daughter Michelle Lee McCaulla of Perrysburg; his son Aaron Michael McCaulla of Tiffin; brother Joseph (Brandy) of CT; and sister Amy (Jeff) Harris of Urbana.

Proceeding him in death were his parents; and sister, Patricia Ann Thierry.

Mike was a graduate of Urbana High School and served as a medic in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In 1971, he moved to Tiffin where he graduated from Tiffin University. He worked as a Materials Manager and Consultant in the automotive industry, most recently he worked for Great Dane Trailers in Brazil, IN. He was a member of the Tiffin Elks Lodge #94 and the AmVets Post #48 and enjoyed fishing, reading, going to estate sales and auctions to buy antique radios, fans and phones to repair and resell.
Mike was a proud and loving husband and father who cherished his time with his family and his dogs.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, May 18, 2015 in the Activity Center in St. Joseph Catholic School with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Friends may visit with the family from 1-3:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian Wake Service will begin at 3:00 P.M.
