William E. Ross, 76, of Tiffin, died Monday morning, February 9, 2009 at his home with his family by his side.

On January 31, 1933 he was born to Oscar Cal and Edith (Davis)Ross in Stearns, KY. On July 21, 1951, he married Bertha Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Bertha of 57 years, son Dan (Lynn) Ross of Findlay; daughter Linda (Eric) Stearns of Tiffin; four grandchildren, Jimmy, Kirk, Dana, and Matthew, two brothers, Donald (Melba) Ross of KY; Newman (Helen) Ross of Sidney, OH; three sisters, Carolyn Godsey of KY; Helen Shurley of IN; and Wilma Thompson of KY.

Preceding him in death along with his parents are two brothers, Delbert 'Jack' Ross and Gene Ross, and a sister, Shirley Hatfield.

The family has requested no service at this time.

Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
