William L. Sheely of Victoria Drive died Sunday morning, February 13, 2011 at Providence House in South Bend, IN.

Mr. Sheely was born February 24, 1923 in Tiffin to Harry and Ruth (Craun) Sheely. He married Marjorie Good August 19, 1948. She preceded him in death.

Survived by two sons, David G. (Julie) Sheely of Bristol, IN; William Scott (Carolinn) Sheely of Sugarland, TX; four grandchildren.

He was a Tiffin Columbian High School graduate and Heidelberg College graduate where he was a member of the Excelsior Society. He was also a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Tiffin Elks Lodge # 94.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII where he served in the Pacific Theatre.

His body was cremated. Graveside services will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Louise Dorsch officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the United Veterans Council.

There will be no visitation.

Memorial may be made to the Tiffin-Seneca Public Library, YMCA, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
