Wilma C. Renninger, 88, formerly of New Riegel, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Britthaven Nursing Home in Goldsboro, NC.

On May 15, 1919, she was born in New Riegel to Ralph and Eulalia (Altwies) Elchert. She married Robert Warren Renninger who preceded her in death on April 28, 1987.

Survivors include two daughters, Nancy (Larry) Kuhn of Goldsboro, NC, Betty (Levi) Jones of New Riegel, sister, Virginia Brown of Carey, brother, Cyril Elchert of New Riegel, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death along with her parents and husband is a daughter, Sandra Tiell, sisters, Doris Clark and Rosemary Keating, a brother, Gilbert Elchert and a granddaughter, Vicky Kaski

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 AM, Monday, May 5, 2008 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel, with Rev. Randy Giesige officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery, New Riegel.
