Yvonne M. Brendle, 89, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday morning, May 30, 2015 at Mercy Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on November 28, 1925, in Seneca County, to Frank and Ruth (Creeger) Gordon. On June 11, 1944, in Trinity United Church of Christ, she married Willard R. "Butch" Brendle and he preceded her in death in 2007.

Survivors include her son, Dennis (Linda) Brendle of Tiffin; 3 daughters, Judy (Tom) Schafer of Fostoria, Patricia (Gary "Butch" Reinhart) Shulaw and Annette Smith, both of Tiffin; daughter-in-law, Lisa Brendle of Tiffin; sister, Wanda French of Findlay; brother-in-law, Don Comer of Tiffin; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; many step-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Willard Brendle, Jr.; 2 sons-in-law, Richard Shulaw and Tim Smith; 2 brothers, Robert Gordon and Eldon Gordon; 2 sisters, Willetta Cutlip and Ginny Comer; and brother-in-law, Gary French.

Mrs. Brendle graduated in 1943 from Hopewell Loudon High School, was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and retired from Roppe Rubber in 1990. She enjoyed flowers, crocheting doilies, baby blankets, afghans and loved to bake pies, yeast rolls and was famous for her sugar cookies. She also enjoyed eating at restaurants, watching Joel Osteen on Sunday's, cooking shows and soap operas. Yvonne was grandma to everyone and loved all little children.

Her funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital or a local Veterans' Organization.
