Aaron J. Garza

Aaron J. Garza, 58, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday morning, May 19, 2021 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.

He was born on January 21, 1963 in Port Clinton, Ohio, to Meliton and Juana (Guajardo) Garza. 

Survivors include his beloved fiancée, Lori Sharpe of Tiffin, whom he spent 15 plus wonderful years with; son, Jordan (Ashley) Garza of Maumee; daughter, Amber (Josh) Burgess of Norwalk; brothers, Armando (Gloria) Garza of Port Clinton, Joe Garza of Fremont and Anzelmo (Kimberly) Garza of Port Clinton; sisters, Maria (Bill) Mullens of Port Clinton, Alisha (Richard) Rogers of KY, Anita Garza of FL, Anjelina Garza of Indian Lake, Ohio and Adelina (Rick) Plough of PA; seven grandchildren, Makenna, Charlotte, Cohen, Peyton, Liam, Abel and Phoebe; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Arturo Garza.

Aaron graduated in 1982 from Port Clinton High School and served in the United States Army and Air Force.  He  worked at Whirlpool in Fremont, AmeriGas in Fremont and currently worked at Concordance Healthcare Solutions in Tiffin.  Aaron was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2858 and enjoyed being with his friends, riding his Harley, bow hunting, fishing, being at the lake and loved his dogs, Zoey, Zeke and Zeus.  Zeke was Aaron’s best buddy!

His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Curt Gallmeyer officiating. 

Friends may visit with the family from 2-6:00 P.M. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Seneca County Dog Warden or to the family c/o of the funeral home.
