Alan "Mike" Pryor

Alan “Mike” Pryor, 71, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday evening, December 19, 2020 at home surrounded by family.

He was born December 8, 1949, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Homer and Josephine (Monaco) Pryor. He married Mintha “Mint” L. Ritchie on March 12, 1968 and she preceded him in death on December 6, 2020

Survivors include his son, Paul David (Angel) Pryor of Tiffin; daughter, Debra Ann (John) Meisner of Tiffin; brother, Paul (Jerrie) Pryor of Tiffin; sisters-in-law, Arlene Pryor, and Donna Pryor both of Tiffin and grandchildren, Autumn Lee Pryor of Tiffin, Corey Jacob Meisner of Tiffin, and Brett Michael Meisner of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Homer “Bill” William Pryor, and Cecil Pryor.

Mike’s family meant the world to him.  He enjoyed many of Ohio’s sports teams including, The Cleveland Browns, Indians, Columbus Blue Jackets, and The Ohio State University. When he was not watching sports, he liked to woodwork and go hunting and was former truck driver.

A service will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Paul Tyree officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery. 

A masked visitation for family and friends will be an hour prior to the service on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.  Family and friends are asked to wear masks and social distance as they pay their respects.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
