A much loved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, Ardella J. Waldbauer, 69, of Tiffin, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She had bravely confronted and fought her battle with cancer.
Ardella was born in Shelby on January 19, 1952 to Marlin E. and Effie E. (Ziegler) Cole. She married William Waldbauer, Jr. on June 11, 1972. They started their life together in Galion and later moved to Tiffin in 1989. They enjoyed traveling together and she especially enjoyed the beach.
Ardella loved being with her family. She truly enjoyed when her family was all together for holidays and celebrations. She made everyone feel special and loved by supporting them in their various activities and sports. Ardella was proud of every member of her family. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Ardella retired from Tiffin City Schools where she made an impact on student’s lives as a teacher’s aide. She enjoyed the opportunity to encourage, give, and support others over the years. Ardella had many special friends. They enjoyed spending time together by taking walks, sharing a meal, and great conversations. Ardella recently completed her Walk to Emmaus, which strengthened her relationship with Christ. She was an active member of Faith United Methodist Church in Tiffin.
In addition to her husband, Bill, of 49 years, Ardella is survived by her three children, daughter, Nicole McNulty of Perrysburg, son, Tyler (Amanda) Waldbauer of Findlay, and daughter, Amy (Paul) Dixon of Columbus; her mother, Effie Cole of Tiffin; her nine grandchildren, Ashley, Allison, Alaina, Aleigha, Audrey, James, Macie, Daniel, and Nora; her brother-in-law, Herb Songer of Galion; sister-in-law, Kathy Cole of Crestline; her special aunt and uncle, Pat and Dan Tackett of Shelby; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Ardella was preceded in death by her father, Marlin Cole; her identical twin sister, Arlene Songer; and her brother, Rodney Cole.

A private Service and burial in Oakland Cemetery, Tiro, Ohio will be at a later date.
