Barbara Ann (Shultz) Roberts

Barbara Ann Roberts, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at St. Francis Home.

She was born on October 22, 1935, in Seneca County to Clarence and Martha B. (Lucius) Shultz.  On April 23, 1955, she married Donald W. Roberts and he preceded her in death on January 1, 2019.

Survivors include her children, Tom (Kelly) Roberts of Bedford, Texas; Lori Martin of Tiffin and Chris (Kathy) Roberts of Ottawa, Ohio; brother, Bob (Mary) Shultz of Tiffin; sisters, Nancy (Paul) Kanney and Betty (Marty) Finley, both of Tiffin; and two grandchildren, Rachel and Nicole.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill Shultz and infant, Alfred Shultz; and sisters, Rosemary Zachardy, Rita Smidutz and Joan Welborn.

Barbara was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, canning, her pet parakeets throughout the years, loved the holidays, but most of all enjoyed being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Matthew Rader  officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Thursday at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
