Bonnie Lou Sheidler, 79, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, November 09, 2023, at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on May 17, 1944, in Tiffin, Ohio to Paul and Alyce (Tewalt) Sheidler.
Survivors include her brother, Doug (Kathy) Sheidler; sisters, Susan (Rick) Marcha, Paula (Dennis) Gamertsfelder, and Hollis (Jeff) Schmiedebusch; and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kay Fausey; and brother-in-law, Charles Fausey.
Bonnie graduated in 1963 from Old Fort High School and worked at Bush-Warner in Fremont, then resided in Chicago, Pittsburgh and Houston, after moving back to the area, she worked at Sam Simms Excavating in Fremont as a secretary for many years. She loved shopping, especially at the Sandusky Mall and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Bonnie was famous for her rainbow Jello, pickle wraps, grape salad and sending birthday cards and Christmas gifts. Family was extremely important to her, and she was a caretaker to many family members over the years. She was very loving and caring to everyone she met.
Her funeral service will be at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Tammy Waugaman officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory and from 9:30 A.M. until the time of the Service on Wednesday.
