Brian Daniel Margraf

Brian Daniel Margraf, 41, of Hastings, Michigan and formerly of New Riegel, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020 in Michigan.

He was born on February 21, 1979, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Thomas G. and Catherine L. (Huss) Margraf.

Survivors include his father, Thomas G. Margraf of New Riegel; daughters, Sophia Margraf and Madison Margraf; sisters, Kimberly Sue (Michael) Kirkland of Reynoldsburg, Jennifer Sue (Greg) Edwards of Westchester and Rebecca Ann (Todd) Smith of Monroe, MI; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine L. Margraf.

Brian graduated in 1997 from New Riegel High School and from The Ohio State University.  He lived in Hastings, Michigan for almost 20 years and was a loan officer at GreenStone Farm Credit Services.  Brian was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Hastings and enjoyed, cooking out with friends, hunting, fishing, camping, cutting wood and being outdoors.

His Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday at the Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
