Carol Elaine Agerter, 72, of Carey, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.
She was born on December 12, 1948, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Allen O. and Anna Lucille (Grubel) Keller. On June 29, 1968, in St. Mary Catholic Church, she married James “Jim” Agerter.
Survivors include her husband, James Agerter of Carey; daughters, Brenda (Thomas) Chase of Mesa, AZ and Mary Jo Agerter of Findlay; son, Jeffrey Allen “Jeff” (Missy) Agerter of Carey; brothers, Myron (Deborah) Keller of Sandusky and Robert (Diane) Keller of Berea; and three grandchildren, Sage Agerter, Elsie Chase and Andrew Chase.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Ralph J. Keller.
Carol was a 1968 graduate of Calvert High School and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, canning, loved to collect Longaberger Baskets and Fenton Ware. Carol knew lots of people through her work in the Public-School Systems of Hopewell Loudon in Bascom, Ohio, Mesa Public Schools in Mesa, AZ and Findlay City Schools in Findlay, Ohio.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Stan Tabor officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
