Charlene Metcalf Obituary

Charlene F. Metcalf, 73, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.

She was born on December 7, 1948, in LaPorte, Indiana, to Forest LaMare Lowery and Lucy Elizabeth (Albertson) Ellis. Charlene married Donald Gibson in Cumberland Falls Kentucky and he preceded her in death in 2009.

Survivors include her daughter, Rondeanna (Mark) Glick of Tiffin; stepdaughters, Vickie Lynn Cane of IN., Lola Storm of MI. and Cassandra “Casie” Swistek of IN.; brothers, Rocky (Lana Kinsey) Lowery of South Bend, IN. and Larry (Pam) Bush of LaPorte, IN.; sister, Linda Arent of Fish Lake, IN.; grandchildren, Amanda Metcalf, Michelle Glick, Matt Glick and many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Lonnie Metcalf; brother, Dwayne Lowery; and sister, Peggy Huffman.

Charlene was a member of A Little Faith Ministries. She enjoyed sewing, gospel concerts and watching tv.

There will be a Graveside Service at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Fairmont Cemetery followed by a Celebration of Life at Little Faith Ministries.

Memorial contributions may be made to TGMA Gospel Music or A Little Faith Ministries.
