Cheryl A. Strausbaugh, 79, of McCutchenville, passed away on Monday afternoon, March 27, 2023 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.
She was born on October 22, 1943, in Tymochtee, Ohio, to Charles and Edith (Yambert) Miller. On March 20, 1966, she married Dean Strausbaugh.
Survivors include her husband, Dean Strausbaugh of McCutchenville; son, Dusty (Amy Johnson) Strausbaugh of McCutchenville; daughters, Angie Clouse of Tiffin, Jennifer (Frank) Day of Upper Sandusky and Megan (Eric) Brickman of Tiffin; brother, Denny (Karen) Miller of Tiffin; and eight grandchildren, Stacy (Jacob) Mowery, Hunter Clouse, Sarah Day, Brayden Brickman, Brody Brickman, Ryan Day, Bryler Brickman and Brynn Brickman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Don Miller and Ned Miller; and twin grandsons, Brady and Caleb Brickman.
Cheryl was a 1961 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. She was a secretary at East Jr. High School until the birth of her first child. She was co-owner of Klay Tire & Oil with her husband, Dean, was a homemaker and loved babysitting her grandchildren. Cheryl was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star in Upper Sandusky and enjoyed getting together with her classmates at their monthly luncheons, spending time at the cabin in the Upper Peninsula and watching her grandkids sporting events. Most of all, Cheryl was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Faith United Methodist Church, 75 North Sandusky Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Rev. Tom Everett officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville.
Friends may visit with the family from 4-7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington Street, Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 and from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Service on Friday at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice or to Hopewell-Loudon Athletic Boosters.
