David A. Bihn, 83, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
He was born on June 15, 1939, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Albert J. and Helen (Becker) Bihn. On April 20, 1968, he married Lois Herbert.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Bihn of Tiffin; sons, Anthony David (Heather) Bihn of Lansing, MI and Thomas Joseph Bihn of Norwalk; and one granddaughter, Emily.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Albert J. Bihn, Jr.; and sister, Mary Kovosckitz.
David grew up on a farm and was a 1957 graduate of Tiffin Calvert High School. After high school, he served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1961. He retired from National Machinery, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club and was also a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. David was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland sports fan, enjoyed traveling, was interested in the weather and loved animals, especially cats.
His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the United Veterans Council.
