Dawn I Kessler, 67, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, March 25, 2022, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.
On October 12, 1954 in Tiffin, she was born to Gene and Carol (Grubb) Von Blon. She married Michael Kessler, her high school sweetheart on March 20, 1976.
Survivors include her husband, daughter, Carly (Jake Smith) Shinn of Findlay; son, Chad (Jennifer) Kessler of Tiffin; brothers, Robb Von Blon of McCutchenville; Scott (Nancy) Von Blon of Sycamore; sister, Wendy Von Blon of Cincinnati; six grandchildren, Addison, Alexa, Brennan, Alexis, Donovan and Maris and one great grandchild, Nash.
Dawn worked as an assembler for Whirlpool in Findlay for 20 years and retired in 2005. She enjoyed baking, collecting dolls, crafting, watching movies, vacationing, and in her younger years, riding trail bikes. But most of all, she loved being a grandma, mother and wife.
There will be no visitation or services.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
