Diane Sue (Kistler) Latona

Diane Sue Latona, 80, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday morning, May 27, 2018 at St. Francis Home in Tiffin.

On May 16, 1938 in Tiffin, she was born to Russell “Pete” and Mary Elizabeth (Wolfe) Kistler.  She married Albert Latona on May 9, 1959 and he survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include daughters, Fran (Jeff) Tammarine of Liberty Center; Mary Latona of Tiffin; Carla Kilgore of Tiffin; two sons, Tony (Lucy Castilleja) Latona of Tiffin; Rusty (Lesa) Latona of Tiffin; grandchildren, Matthew (Jenna) and Dominic Tammarine, Michael and Justin Latona, Dominic and Anna Latona, Adam, Samantha, and Aleah Kilgore; great grandchildren, Blake, Vinny, and Lillian; brothers, Jerry Kistler of Florida; Tim Kistler of Bowling Green, KY; sister, Marcia Gwinn of Springfield, OH.

Her parents, son Albert Latona, Jr. in 1970 and a brother, Gene Kistler, preceded her in death.

Diane was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and graduated from Tiffin Calvert in 1956.  She loved BINGO, casino trips, watching the Cleveland Indians and Browns and traveling.  Most of all she loved her family and cherished the time they spent together.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.

Friends may visit and share stories on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory.
