Dolores June Ranker

Dolores June “June” Ranker, 83, of Tiffin, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at her home.

She was born on November 26, 1937, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Joseph and Mary (Stone) Ranker. 

Survivors include her brother, Joseph Ranker of Tiffin; sister, Virginia Richardson of Columbus; many nieces and nephews; and her cocker spaniel, Katie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas Ranker; sister, Sylvia Gibson, and infant sister, Mary Angela Ranker.

June graduated in 1955 from Calvert High School and worked in the shipping department at General Electric in Tiffin. Following the closing of the plant, she worked at RCA in Findlay and later at Tiffin Developmental Center.  She enjoyed knitting hats and gloves, crocheting blankets, reading, and walking Katie every day. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice Care or to the Humane Society of Seneca County.
