Donald H. Bush

Donald H. Bush, 93, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at St. Francis Home.

He was born on October 11, 1926, in Oakwood, Ohio, to Charles A. and Edith M. (Fisher) Bush.  On July 21, 1956, he married Joan P. Beckman.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Bush of Tiffin; son, Michael D. (Barbara) Bush of Tiffin; daughter, Theresa A. (David) Taylor of Dayton; and grandchildren, Jonathan (Lindsey) Taylor and Erin (Joshua) Dewett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Richard K. Bush.

Donald graduated in 1944 from McComb High School and worked for CSX as a clerk freight agent.  He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin Moose Lodge 846, VFW Post 2858, where he was a former post commander, Eagles #402, American Legion Post 169, DAV and Amvets Post 48.  Donald served on honor guard for the United Veterans Council, enjoyed playing golf and was a Cleveland Indians fan.

His Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 A.M. on Monday, January 20, 2020 at St. Francis Home Chapel with Rev. Frank Murd officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass on Monday at St. Francis Home Chapel.
