Donald "Don" L. Richardson

Donald L. “Don” Richardson, 80, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday afternoon, June 20, 2020 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

He was born on May 6, 1940, in Marysville, Ohio, to Vernon B. and Anna E. (Hobbs) Richardson.  On November 10, 1965, he married Carol Ann Frederick.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann Richardson of Tiffin; sons, Jan A. (Robin Paulus) Richardson of Tiffin and Craig S. (Valerie) Richardson of Bloomville; and two grandchildren, McKenzie Richardson and Carter Richardson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, James Richardson.

Don grew up in Fostoria, graduated in 1959 from Fostoria High School and then lived in Hawaii for a year.  He worked at General Electric for 25 years, at Pub Bar for 12 years, Textron in Fostoria for 10 years and was an office manager at Bill’s Collision for 20 years.  He enjoyed going to and showing his cars every weekend at car shows and mowing his lawn.  Family time was very important to Don and he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Curt Gallemeyer officiating.  Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Gardens.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at the funeral home.
