Dorothy J (Bare) Shuff

Dorothy J. Shuff, 93, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at home surrounded by loved ones.

On March 30, 1928, in McCutchenville, Ohio she was born to Mearl P. and Zola E. (Romig) Bare. She married Harold L. Shuff on September 18, 1948, in McCutchenville, Ohio and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Stephen M. (Jamie) Shuff of Burlington, MA; Michael D. Shuff of Tiffin; Terry W. (Brenda) Shuff of Sycamore; daughters, Denise A. Conger of Republic; Darlene K. Patton of Seneca, MO; son-in-law, James Brandt of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Diana Brandt, brothers; James and John Bare, sisters; Lorana Heilman, Lucretia Curtis, Ferma Mae Bare, grandson; Bradley Brandt and great-granddaughter, Ryann Brandt.

Dorothy graduated from McCutchenville High School and was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ. She was a member and past-president of the Eagles Auxiliary, Grandmother’s Club (Seneca Rose) and the NARF.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. David A. Voll officiating. Entombment will follow in Seneca Memory Garden.
