Edgar Shepherd, Jr.

Edgar “Ed” Shepherd, Jr., 59, Tiffin, passed away Saturday evening, October 30, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born July 12, 1962, in Hazard, Kentucky, to Edgar, Sr. and Geraldine A. (Little) Shepherd.

Survivors include sons, Todd Stallard, Ed Shepherd III both of Tiffin; daughters, Amanda Dick of Fostoria; Stephanie Shepherd of Tiffin; brother, William (Margaret) Shepherd of Tiffin; sisters, Doris (Donnie) Jackson of Bloomville, Sarah Kiser of Tiffin, Lelah (Dale) Dickson of Tontogany, OH.; 8 grandchildren; and his significant other for over 30 years, Dondalene Webb of Tiffin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar, Sr. and his mother, Geraldine Slosser; brother, Frank Shepherd in 1974; and infant sister, Alice Shepherd.

Ed was a member of A Little Faith Ministries and was a self-employed carpet installer of over 24 years, learning the trade from Moe Moyer.  He installed for area flooring stores such as Richard’s for years and owner of Ed’s Carpet Installation. Ed enjoyed watching wrestling, being at home, and sharing stories with life lessons to his children.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at A Little Faith Ministries on 230 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883 with Rev. Stephanie Little officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
