Edward E. Pletcher, 52, of Bloomville, passed away Sunday morning, May 28, 2023, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.
On June 30, 1970, he was born in Tiffin, one of seven children. He married Brenda Hartson on June 30, 2018.
Survivors include his wife Brenda of Bloomville; son, Eddie (Chelsea) Pletcher of Bloomville; daughter, Hayley (Dan) Hadden of Columbus; stepsons, Patric Carter of Tiffin; Andrew Carter of Toledo; John Nelson II of Bloomville; stepdaughters, Stacy Hartson and Mary Hartson both of Bloomville; 10 grandchildren and a special friend, Brandon Davis.
He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Linda and Robert Adams and his dog, Jeffrey.
Ed graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1989 worked at Ameriwood for many years. He was known for being a jokester, liked listening to Rock music, sitting on the front porch with his family and friends drinking beer, and watching football with his son. He was a Dallas Cowboy, University of Michigan, Detroit Tigers, Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Bulls fan.
His funeral will be Saturday, June 03, 2023, at 12:00 noon at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Tom Kagy officiating. There will be no burial at this time.
Friends may visit on Saturday from 10-12:00 at the funeral home.
