Edward “Ted” Franklin Carter, Jr.
Edward “Ted” Franklin Carter, Jr., 60, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 surrounded by family.
He was born on December 28, 1959, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Edward F., Sr. and Donna (Lee) Carter. On July 26, 2014, he married Britne Lofay.
Survivors include his wife, Britne Carter; sons, Jeremy (Melinda) Carter, of Findlay, Matt Carter, of Bowling Green; Tony (Liz) Vassalle of Findlay; daughter, Cara (Cory) Kummerer, of Tiffin; brothers, John (Brenda) Carter, Tracy (Tonya McCrate) Carter, Troy (Michelle) Carter, all of Tiffin; sisters, Darlene Ward and Sue Mizen, both of Tiffin; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Ashley Carter; and grandsons, Hunter and Todd Johnson.
Ted graduated from Seneca East High School in 1977 and joined the United States Marine Corp, 1977-1980. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing as well as working with his hands, construction and cheering for The Ohio State University.
A Private family service will take place.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice.
