Emile P. Vivod

Emile P. Vivod, 73, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday evening, March 7, 2022 at Mercy Health-St. Vincent Hospital.

He was born on October 12, 1948, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Emile J. and Elizabeth H. (Sztary) Vivod.  On July 26, 1969, he married Maureen A. Fullerton.

Survivors include his wife, Maureen Vivod of Tiffin; sons, Lee (LaDonna) Vivod of Port Clinton and Walt Vivod of Columbus; brother, William L. (Kathy) Vivod of Belmont; sisters, Sophia DePaulis of Shadyside and Mary Vivod of Bellaire; two grandchildren, Corrina Rodd and Aaron Shiets; and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Emile was a 1966 graduate of Martins Ferry High School.  He was a machinist for over 50 years at National Machinery and a member of their Quarter Century Club.  He was a Steeler’s fan, a collector,  enjoyed fishing at the lake, being at home, going for walks, and was a professional t.v. watcher. Emile also enjoyed celebrating his 50^th anniversary with Maureen at Niagara Falls where they also spent their honeymoon.  He was a two-time cancer survivor, friendly and was a devoted husband and father.

His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, March 11, 2022 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  Burial will follow in Seneca Memory Garden.

Friends may visit with the family from 5-7 P.M. on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the funeral home.
