Franklin C. Sours

Franklin C. Sours, 76, of Tiffin, passed away Monday morning, April 20, 2020 unexpectedly at his home.

He was born on April 3, 1944, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Russell “Pappy” and Elizabeth Jane (Hull) Sours.

On August 19, 1967, in Ebenezer United Church, he married Martha A. Chaffee.

Survivors include his wife, Martha A. Sours of Tiffin; son, Allen Sours of Tiffin; step-daughters, Pamela Marshall and Beth Paradiso, both of Tiffin, Cristal (Greg) Waser of Huron and Debra (Jeff) Coon of Tawas City,  MI; and eight sisters, Delores Evans, Beatrice Prenzlin, Roberta Sours, Loretta Annon, Wilma (Lester) Vanover, Janet Prenzlin, Betty Bordner and Laura Spencer; 12 grandchildren, Colten, Allison & Franchesca Sours, Tim Lemmon, Tiffany & Rob Marshall, James Martin II, Heather Roush, Ryan & Kevan Coon, Will Stark, and Dominic Paradiso; 12 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Franklin worked at American Standard, Carey Plastics and at Rozemans.  He was a jokester, enjoyed antique car shows, singing, riding his bicycle, playing cornhole, horseshoes and baseball.   Frank was very friendly and kind hearted; always willing to lend a hand.

His funeral services will be private. Burial will be at 11:45 A.M. on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville with Pastor Charlene Thomas officiating.
