Garland Fitch Obituary
Garland “Juney” Fitch, Jr., 55, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, October 27, 2021, in the Emergency Room at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.
He was born on November 8, 1965, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Garland, Sr. and Gloria J. (Runion) Fitch.
Survivors include his daughters, Brandie (Andrea Letellier) Fitch of Columbus and Nicole Fitch of Sycamore; girlfriend, Christy Myers of Tiffin; stepsons, Jacob Myers and Lane Kraft, both of Tiffin; brothers, Lonnie (James) Fitch of Tiffin, Mike (Fancy Thom) Fitch of Tiffin, Rick (Beth) Fitch of Republic, Randy (Kristal) Fitch of Tiffin and Mark Everett of VA; and four grandchildren, Maya Abarca, Emmanuel Abarca, Jase Fitch and Isaias Lopez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant grandson, Jaden Fitch.
Juney was a 1984 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and served in the United States Army and then the Ohio National Guard. He retired after 30 years as a custodian from Tiffin City Schools, and co-owned GB Floor Care for over 20 years. He was on the search and rescue team with Crisis Prevention Institute and was a member of AmVets Post 48. Juney enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, camping at Mohican, sipping on a good Bourbon and demolition derby’s, where he had numerous wins. Juney loved family get-togethers and spending time with his daughters and grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 5-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424.
A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Fairmont Cemetery with military honors by the United Veterans Council.
