Harold A. Braciak, 86, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, August 04, 2023, at his home.
He was born on July 22, 1937, in Melmore, to Theodore and Martha (Reinhart) Braciak. On September 17, 1960, he married Mary Lou Nuel and she preceded him in death on September 29, 2016.
Survivors include his four daughters, Barbara Ann Vera of Atlanta, GA, Angela Kuzma (Steve Caskey) of New Riegel, Debbie Braciak (Randy Young) of Fostoria and Anna (Gregory) Wildman of Tiffin; ten grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are his dog, Bailey and his two cats named Fred.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jerry Braciak; grandson, Ben Kuzma; and sister, Mary Huffman.
Harold was a member of All Saints Parish (former member SS Patrick & Andrew Catholic Church). He was a 1955 graduate of Calvert High School. Harold served 3 years in the National Guard where he was a tank commander and achieved expert marksman status. He worked as a machine repairman at Atlas Crankshaft. He enjoyed antiques and garage sale-ing and had a booth at Jeffrey’s Antique Gallery. Harold was a very hard worker and could fix anything up until his last days. He also enjoyed the lake, boating and fishing, liked mowing and spending time at Goodwill.
Harold’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Bridge Hospice of Findlay for their care during his final days.
His Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 09, 2023, at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Bascom.
