Harry (Jim) Kenneth Good, 91, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2021, surrounded by his family.
He was born March 1, 1930, to Harry and Sophia Good in Fostoria, Ohio.
In 1948, he graduated from St. Wendelin High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Mildred “Millie” Louise Gillig, on December 30, 1950, in St. Joseph Catholic Church. They had six children: Kenneth (Linda) Good of Tiffin, Linda (Ronald) Fatzinger of Tiffin, Sandy (Greg) Hoover of Tiffin, Terry (Trisha) Good of Hebron, Ohio, Kathy (Jon) Fellwock of Lapeer, Michigan, and Steven (Dawne) Good of North Carolina.
Jim is survived by his six children; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and another great-grandson due in May. His sister, Marjorie Jane Burger, also survives.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; Millie, his wife of 67 years; sister, Lillian Smith; and infant brother, Robert Good.
Jim was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, VFW, American Legion, and Knights of Columbus. He worked in a lumber yard, the railroad, and 35 years at Columbia Gas of Ohio. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping at Wild Wings Campground on Lake Erie. But, most of all, he loved time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
His Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery with Military Honors being conducted by the United Veterans Council.
