Ida May Seifert, 94, of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.
She was born on May 21, 1927, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Floyd Earl and Cynthia (Lyman) Mack. On October 1, 1949, she married Donald P. Seifert.
Survivors include her four sons, Ron (Kerin) Seifert of Chandler, AZ, Dan Seifert of Port Clinton, Steve (Shirley) Seifert of Tiffin and Larry (Laura) Seifert of Perrysburg; brother, Paul (Coletta) Mack of New Riegel; sisters, Georgeanna Allbright of Findlay and Mary Jane Reinbolt of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Lisa Cooley, Brian Seifert, Christine Seifert, Angela Coyle, Mitchell Seifert and Brandon Seifert; and three great grandchildren, Tay Shawn Harrison, Kiana Harrison and Elwood Mitchell.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald P. Seifert; five brothers, Floyd, John, William, Donald and Robert.
Ida was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing BINGO, crafts, traveling around the United States, casino trips and she appeared on Cash Explosion. Ida loved spending time with family and was the best mother and grandmother.
A Funeral Mass for Ida May and Donald will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial for Ida May and Donald will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery where the Seneca County Veterans Council will honor Donald with military rites.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer’s Association.
