James D. Noller, 89, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday morning, August 12, 2021 at Mercy Health-Tiffin Hospital.
He was born on May 31, 1932, in Toledo, Ohio, to Frank and Alice (Perrine) Noller. On June 4, 1955, he married Joanne G. Schultz and she preceded him in death.
Survivors include his daughters, Vicky (Jeff) Little of Republic and Connie Noller of Tiffin; brother, Donald Noller of Collins; three grandchildren, Matthew Little, Amanda (Chris) Magers and Casey Noller; and two great grandchildren, Andrew and Chloe.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Noller; and sisters, Mary Lou Mossberg, Jean Paulus and Joan Cantelas.
James was a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked in Quality Control at American Standard from 1950 to 1997 and was a member of the AmVets Post 69 and V.F.W. Post 2858. James had fond memories of his military career and enjoyed road trips, spending time with his friends, especially breakfast at GW’s.
His graveside service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Fairmont Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the United Veterans Council with a luncheon to follow at Tiffin VFW Post 2858.
