Janice K. (Sullivan) Hill

Janice K. Hill, 78, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday morning, December 8, 2019 at Promedica Fostoria Hospital surrounded by her friends.

She was born on October 7, 1941, in Tiffin, Ohio to Ephriom and Helen (Kisabeth) Sullivan.  On October 24, 1970, she married Gene K. Hill and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2016. 

Survivors include her adopted family, Kim Walton and her children, Kyle and his fiancé, Nick; Shelby; Cassie and Chase and their daughter, Quinn; Kristen and Mark and their son, Kaiden; and Marissa and Donovan; cousin, Ray Myers of Tiffin; brothers-in-law, Joe Lee of Tiffin and Gerald (Anna) Hill of Fort Seneca; and close friends, Denise and Todd and their sons, Samuel and Benjamin and Carl and Heather and their daughters, Lauren and Taylor; many nieces and nephes; and her Church family.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Bonnie L. Lee and infant, Connie Sullivan.

Janice graduated in 1959 from Bettsville High School and was a member of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ for 29 years, where she taught Sunday school and was a very active parishioner.  Early on, Janice worked at Kuebler Shoes, LaSalle’s Dept. Store and Tiffin Metal and  volunteered at Meals on Wheels, Mercy Hospital and Tiffin Lady Lions.  Janice enjoyed watching old movies and when she met you, she greeted you with a joke.

Her Funeral Service will be at 6:30 P.M. on Friday, December 13, 2019 at First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ with Rev. Doug DeVos officiating.  Burial will be at a later date in Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort.

Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the Service at Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ or to Tiffin Lions Club.
