Jaynis L. (Clark) McQuistion

Jaynis L. McQuistion, 86, of Tiffin, went to meet Jesus on Tuesday morning, October 31, 2023 at The Courtyard At Tiffin.

She was born on May 04, 1937, in Fostoria, Ohio, to Charles William and Leora (Drinkwater) Clark.  On March 22, 1959, she married Clifford “Gene” McQuistion.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford “Gene” McQuistion of Tiffin; daughter, Heidi Heminger of Dayton; brother, Charles Clark, Jr. of Arizona; three grandchildren, Anthony Heminger, Morgan (Corey) Potts and Andrew Heminger; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Christopher McQuistion.

Jaynis graduated from Fostoria High School and Bowling Green State University.  She was a teacher for 34 years at Tiffin City Schools and Fostoria Schools, was a member of First Presbyterian Church and served on the Habitat for Humanity board for four years.  When Janyis was not teaching, she enjoyed traveling with her husband, building Habitat homes and taking bus trips with Exchange Students to different cities.  She loved children and animals and always put others first.

Services will be private and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Willard.
