Jeanette (Janet) V. Hoepf passed away peacefully on October 11, 2023. She was born March 6, 1929, in Bascom, Ohio to Thomas and Anna Keefe. She married Linus V. Hoepf July 10, 1951, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin, Ohio. He preceded her in death August 29, 2003.

She is survived by her four children, Thomas Hoepf, Lonnie Hoepf, Donald (Becky) Hoepf, and Marianne (Paul) Kline; grandchildren, Thomas Hoepf, Jr., Miranda (Drew) Raudabaugh, Zachary (Britany) Hoepf, Nicole (Bill) Long, Justin (Jamisyn) Hoepf, Ashley (Adrian) Baker, Hunter (Emily) Kline, Tayler Kline; step-grandson, Jason Kline; and step granddaughter, Jennifer (Nick) Saam; great-grandchildren, Ethan Hoepf, Hayden Carter, Elijah, Makayla, and Chase Raudabaugh, Grace and Cora Long, Cooper and Wyatt Hoepf, Amani, Aria, and Audriana Baker, Peyton and Mason Kline; five step-great grandchildren, Cameron and McKenzie Kline, and Lucas, Aubrey, and Libby Saam; and sister-in-law, Micheline (Aunt Mic) Hoepf. Jeanette is survived by more nieces and nephews than we can count and is loved by all.

Jeanette was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Vicki Hoepf; sisters and spouses, Mary (Leonard) Graham, Cecelia (Joseph) Schleter, Martha (Leonard) Jankowski, Agnes (Norbert) Hohman, Anna (Sam) Allen, Margaret (Lloyd) Parkins, Louise (Richard) O’Connor; brothers and spouses, Thomas (Julia) Keefe, Joseph (Marie) Keefe, Jerome (Flora Mae) Keefe, and infant brother, James; brothers-in-law and spouses-in-law, Leo (Eulalia) Hoepf, Clarence (Lucille) Hoepf, Urban (Dorothy) Hoepf, Bernard (Julie) Hoepf, and Harold (Rose) Hoepf, Raymond Hoepf; and sisters-in law and spouses-in-law, Matilda (Virgil) Gase, Frances (Armond) Gase, George Houk, Eulalia (Fred) Kohmann, and Martha (Roy) Miller.

Jeanette attended Hopewell-Loudon School and worked at Rexall Drug Store and was a caregiver for the elderly. She met her future husband, Linus, while caring for his father, and the rest became history. Jeanette was the wife of a Navy man and relocated with him while raising their four children. The family returned to Tiffin in the early 1960s and continue to call it home.

Jeanette was a master seamstress, crafting beautiful wedding gowns, customized draperies, and the list goes on. Her talents were many and were displayed in the home she kept, along with the food she served and the love she shared with many. After her children were grown, Jeanette worked briefly at Arthur Treacher’s Fish & Chips, Saint Francis Home where she later retired, and part-time at Cabin Creations. She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, The Josephines, and Red Hat Gad-a-bouts.
