JoAnn J. Hoepf, 85, of Findlay, formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Birchaven Nursing Home.
She was born January 3, 1937, in Big Spring Twp., to Alfred and Dorothy (Kirian) Wagner. On April 14, 1956, in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, she married Dale E. Hoepf and he preceded her in death on April 29, 2014.
Survivors include her four sons, Paul (Jil) Hoepf of Carey, Greg (Sue) Hoepf of Cincinnati, Kevin (Cindy) Hoepf of Tiffin and Scott (Sandra) Hoepf of Findlay; four daughters, Karen (Larry) Wilkinson and Sharon Hoepf, both of Findlay, Bonnie (Martin) Miller of Hilton Head Island, SC and Janice (Jim) Naderer of West Liberty; brother, Eugene (Donna) Wagner of Alvada; sisters, Marie Frey of Upper Sandusky and Anna Mae Wright of Tiffin; 16 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, David Canterbury; brother, Alfred Wagner; sisters, Eileen Arbogast and Doris Weinandy; and grandson, Clayton Hoepf.
JoAnn worked at RCA before raising her children and helping her husband, Dale on their farm. She moved to Findlay in 2015 to be close to her family. While living in Findlay, she was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and their Rosary Altar Society when she lived in Tiffin. JoAnn was a 4-H advisor for 15 years, volunteered her time to many places and enjoyed family vacations, canning, quilting, gardening, traveling, bus tours, farm tours and sewing.
Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. at All Saints Parish on Monday, September 12, 2022 with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
