Judith A. Hill

Judith “Judy” Ann Hill, 76, of Lakeside Marblehead, passed away Friday evening, November 13, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.

She was born on March 31, 1944, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Edward B. and Emma S. (Baker) Burkart. She married Johnny C. Hill, Jr. on July 29, 1978.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny C. Hill, Jr. of Lakeside Marblehead; sister, Elizabeth Fabrizio of Boston, MA.; best friend, Robbin Badertscher; goddaughter, Jill Oblizajek; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ed, James, George, Charles, Alfred and Jerry Burkart; and sisters, Mary Louise Boehner, Susan Fuller and Rita Bursa.

Judy graduated from St. Urusla Academy in Toledo, Ohio and attended the Ursuline Convent to become a nun.  She was a teacher at many local schools and enjoyed talking to friends, helping people, watching the Eagles and volunteering at Dansbury Senior center where she won Volunteer of the Year in 2017.

Her memorial service will be at Noon on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home and Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424. 

Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
