Kimbra Woodland-Borer Obituary

Kimbra Lee Woodland-Borer, 58, of New Riegel, passed away on Sunday morning, March 17, 2024 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus.

She was born on February 26, 1966, in Tiffin, Ohio, to William T. and Marilyn (Nigh) Woodland.  On August 14, 2021, she married William “Bill” Borer.

Survivors include her mother, Marilyn Woodland of Tiffin;  husband, William “Bill” Borer of New Riegel; stepdaughter, Brandi (Christopher) Thomson of Bradner; brothers and sisters in law, William and Carla Woodland of Tiffin, Timothy Woodland of Marion, Jeffrey Woodland of Tiffin and James and Delilah Abbott Woodland of Tiffin; sister, Karen Woodland of Gilbert, AZ; two grandchildren, Sofia and Owen; many nieces and nephews; and close nieces Jenlynn (Randy) Laibe of Nevada and Tiffany Hoffman of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Woodland.

Kimbra graduated in 1985 from Tiffin Columbian and attended Stautzenberger College in Findlay.  She worked at Wal-Mart for 26 years and for the past eight years was a cake decorator.  She was a member of the Tiffin Eagles #402, New Riegel Moose Lodge #872 and enjoyed casino trips, driving to the lake, nature, motorcycle rides, vacationing, especially to Cripple Creek, CO, adopting animals, mostly cats and watching sunrises and sunsets.  Kimbra was very sociable, loved hanging out with family and close friends and listening to classic rock.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 1-3:00 P.M. on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the AmVets, 1909 S. SR 100, Tiffin, Ohio 44883.  A Private Graveside Service will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Seneca County.
