Lenora Belle Thompson, 84, of Bloomville, passed away Wednesday morning, November 30, 2022, at Elmwood Assisted Living.
She was born on August 5, 1938, in Huron County to Edward E and Margaret G. (Mott) Day. On September 15, 1956, she married Paul L. Thompson.,
Survivors include her husband, Paul L. Thompson of Bloomville; son, Steven (Vicki) Thompson of Attica; daughter, Cindy (Dan) Zachman of Bloomville; and six grandchildren, Clayton Thompson, Jason Thompson, Carson Thompson, Zachary Zachman, Joshua Zachman and Chelsea Wilson; and 10 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Shawn Thompson; and sisters, Delores Parker, DeLee Brewer-Heard and Darla Conner.
Lenora graduated in 1956 from Attica High School. She enjoyed being at home, cooking, family dinners, crocheting, yardwork, gardening, planting trees, baking, especially her black raspberry cobbler, canning, reading, day trips around Ohio, going to the Smoky Mountains, listening to Bluegrass, self taught herself to play the piano and many other instruments and loved spending time with her family.
Her funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, December 5, 2022 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Pastor Michael Padula officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral on Monday at the funeral home.
