Lester L. “Les” Bish, 75, of Tiffin, passed away on December 30, 2019 at his home.
He was born on July 26, 1944, in Tiffin, to Carl and Margaret (Siebenaller) Bish. He married Marjorie Whitman and they divorced and later, married Debra Tanner, and they divorced.
Survivors include his daughter, Tina (Travis) Hackney, of North Carolina; three grandchildren, Mason, Hunter and Emma; and four siblings, two in Tiffin and two in Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter; and a sister.
Les graduated in 1962 from Tiffin Calvert High School and served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1968 as a military policeman. He worked at Tiffin Paper Company and Eckrich Meats in Fremont and after retirement worked part-time as a truck driver for BJ Pallet in Tiffin. Les was a Michigan Wolverines and Detroit Lions Football fan.
There will be no visitation or service. Lester donated his body to the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology of MCO in Toledo for student study.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
