On September 15, 2023, our beloved husband, and father, Lloyd Leon Miller, 84, went to be with the Lord.
He was born in Sandusky, Ohio on January 25, 1939, to Elizabeth and Lloyd Miller. He graduated in 1957 from Sandusky High School and attended The Ohio State University, where he graduated with a five year Industrial Engineer degree.
Afterward he went to work at the American Standard Company in Tiffin, Ohio as plant engineer. He was promoted to plant superintendent at the Kokomo, Indiana plant and then to the Trenton, New Jersey plant. He returned to the Tiffin American Standard plant in 1989 where he retired after 39 years of service. He always valued and appreciated everyone he worked with and listened to their concerns.
Lloyd was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jeffery Miller.
His wife Edwina survives after 65 years of marriage. Two daughters, Amanda Miller, and Tonya (Brian) Evans; granddaughter, Valerie Miller; and great grandson, Nathan Phillips.
He was an active member of Tiffin Chamber of Commerce, Tiffin Industrial Management Club, Mercy Hospital Lay Advisory Board, Tiffin Masonic Order, the Elks, American Standard golf league, and Tiffin tennis league. He attended Trinity United Church of Christ. Lloyd's favorite hobby was caring for his yard, garden, and pond where he lived. His funny, loving spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
To comply with Lloyd’s wishes, there will be no services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 131 E Perry St., Tiffin, Ohio, 44883.
