Lois Marie (Maag) Stiger

Lois Marie (Maag) Stiger, 90, of Delaware, Ohio, and formerly of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023 at her home.

She was born on November 30, 1932, in Columbus Grove, Ohio, to Rudolph “Rudy” and Rose (Neiling) Maag.  On October 1, 1955, in Columbus Grove, she married James Stiger and he preceded her in death on June 15, 1988.

Survivors include her daughters, Patricia Stiger of Texas, Linda (Donald) Kessler and Susan (Phillip) O’Connor, both of Delaware, Ohio, son, Robert Stiger of FL; sister, Marilyn (Mike) Hinegardener of Lima; eleven grandchildren, Craig (Michelle) Bakies, Cliff (Chantal) Rutter, Jessica (Oscar) (Duenas), Roger, Angel, Jacinda, and James Stiger; Brad (Iryna) and Steve Kessler; Andrew (Heather) O’Connor and Kathryn (Paolo) Campitelli; eighteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Harold and Robert Maag; and sister, Betty Davis.

Lois worked at Home Window Co. in Fostoria.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Eagles Auxiliary #402.  Lois enjoyed babysitting, bowling, puzzles, Ohio State Football, and Riverside Landing Saturday morning coffee club.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 26, 2023 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
