L. Keith Broka, 86, of Fostoria passed away Monday morning, November 23, 2020.
On September 14, 1934 in Sugar Ridge, Ohio he was born to Rutherford Warren and Elsie Fae (Spackey) Broka. He married Jane Frank on June 7, 1959 in the North Salem Church in Upper Sandusky.
He is survived by his wife Jane, two daughters, Sandra (Don) Reinhart of Bascom; Sharon (George) Miller of Tiffin; brother, Richard (Marvel) Broka of Shelby; three grandchildren, Carime (Glenn) Richter, Jordan (Lisa) Reinhart, Melia (Ben) Prince, three great grandchildren, Ben and Caleb Reinhart, Evelyn Richter and a great granddaughter expected in January 2021.
Keith graduated from Fostoria High School, enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving in Korea, and graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1960. He was a teacher for Fostoria Public Schools for 30 years, retiring in 1986 and continued working at Seneca Millwork for 16 more years. He enjoyed his daily trips to the local libraries, reading everything he could find.
Burial will be private in Sandridge Cemetery in Bascom.
