Margaret L. “Peg” Brickner, 81, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
She was born on July 8, 1939 in Shelby, Ohio, to Clifford E. and June B. (Fry) McCoy. On July 16, 1982, she married James Brickner and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2004.
Survivors include her sons, Jeffery (Tracy) Watson of McCutchenville and Brett (Lorie) Watson of Tiffin; stepdaughter, Tracy Snyder of Tiffin; sister, Sally (Tom) Goble of rural Tiffin; ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Steve Brickner; stepdaughter, Cathy Brickner; brother, Michael McCoy; and sister, Patricia Stover.
Peg and her husband moved to Michigan after her husband was transferred to the Holland area. After retiring as a winder from G.E., Peg became a teacher’s aide at Cherry Lane School and lived in Michigan for over twenty years. She was a member of First United Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing, spending time with her family and in 2010, she became a resident of the Kiwanis Manor.
Her Funeral Service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at First United Baptist Church, 419 Coe Street, Tiffin, Ohio, with Pastor Jesse Caro officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Evergreen Cemetery, Baldwin, Michigan.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the Service on Tuesday at the Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Nursing Home or to Ohio Living Home Health & Hospice-Greater Toledo Area.
