Marilyn Mae (Morton) Heminger

Marilyn Mae Heminger, 96, of Tiffin, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

She was born on August 1, 1926, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Lester and Kittie (Brayton) Morton.  On May 29, 1945, she married Gerald A. “Jerry” Heminger and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Survivors include her son, Gerald A. “Jerry” (Susan K.) Heminger, Jr. of Norwalk; daughters, Sharon (Michael) Lee of Tiffin, Kathryn Myers of Walbridge and Shirley Narducci of Fort Seneca; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; and her rescue dog, Buddie, who gave her much love and happiness.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons-in-law, David Myers and David Narducci; brothers, Lester Morton, Jr. and Robert Morton; and grandson, James Hull.

Marilyn retired from the dietary department at Tiffin Developmental Center.  She was a member of the YMCA for 28 years. Marilyn was strong minded, loved her family and her dogs, enjoyed drawing, gardening, yardwork and was a supporter of animals.

Her Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883, (419) 447-2424 with Rev. Clayton Bailey officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery.

Friends may visit with the family from 4-7:00 P.M. on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the funeral home.
