Mark A. Klepatz

Mark A. Klepatz, 63, of Tiffin, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, nine years after a long illness, in Spring Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Green Springs.

He was born on May 26, 1959, in Bedford, Ohio, to Theodore W. and Patricia A. (Riggs) Klepatz.  On July 09, 1982, he married Patricia Sato.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Sato of Tiffin; son, William Klepatz of Tiffin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rosemary (Dave) Keskinen of Solon and Dianne (Jim Armstrong) Sato of Solon; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mark was a 1977 graduate of Solon High School.  After high school, he went on to graduate from Kent State and from the University of Akron School of Law.  He started his career as a Public Defender and then moved on to private practice as a Defense Attorney.  He was the Prosecutor for the City of Tiffin for five years. 

Mark enjoyed yardwork, gardening, playing video games, watching Western T.V. shows, vacationing and spending time with his family at Myrtle Beach and loved his cats, Chewy and Ghost.

There will not be any Service at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wyandot County Humane Society.
