Martha A. Ziegler, 79, of Tiffin, passed away on Friday morning, January 31, 2020 at Volunteers of America Autumwnood Care Center.
She was born on October 20, 1940, in Bloomville, Ohio to Raymond Andrew and Mabel Corrine (Funk) Ziegler.
Survivors include her brothers, Paul (Susan) Ziegler of Bloomville and George (Charlene) Ziegler of Piedmont, SC; sister-in-law, Royanna Ziegler of Monroeville; five nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; life partner of 46 years, Charles E. Haman; brothers, Carl Ziegler and Frank Ziegler; and sister-in-law, Janet Ziegler.
Martha graduated in 1958 from Bloomville High School and with a Bachelor of Commercial Science degree from Tiffin University. She worked for the United States Glass Company (Tiffin Glass Co.) for 25 years and as the office manager at Jeffrey Jewelry for 21 years; retiring in 2005. After retirement, she continued to work at Jeffrey’s part-time. Martha was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Kiwanis Club of Tiffin, serving as President for three years and Alpha Iota Sorority, joining in 1959 and continued in the alumnae chapter serving as the regional counselor for the Ohio chapters and held every office in the local chapter. She enjoyed antiquing, reading, traveling and crafts.
Her Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
