Mary Ann (Borer) Gaietto

Mary Ann Gaietto, 87, of Tiffin, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.

She was born on July 4, 1934, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Frederick and Dorothy (Fox) Borer.  On September 18, 1954, she married Paul J. Gaietto and he preceded her in death on September 28, 2012. 

Survivors include her four sons, Gary (Ann) Gaietto, Kenneth (Lela) Gaietto, Jamie (Tracie) Gaietto and Robert (Laura) Gaietto, all of Tiffin; three daughters, Annette (Bill) Focht of Charlotte, NC, Lynette (Steve) Everhart and Paulette (Jeff) Colatruglio, both of Tiffin; sisters-in-law, Helen Gaietto and Gerry Borer, both of Tiffin; brother-in-law, Raymond (Frances) Gaietto of Tiffin; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John F. Borer and Michael Borer; and sister-in-law, Eileen Borer.

Mary was a 1952 graduate of Calvert High School and was a Deputy Clerk at the Seneca County Clerk of Courts for over 20 years; retiring in 1995.  She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, helped with funeral dinners and enjoyed bowling, playing Solitaire, shopping, reading, sewing, cooking, gambling, watching the kids play sports.  Most of all she loved raising her family and family get togethers.

The family would like to thank Autumnwood Care Center and Stein Hospice for their care and support.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 Noon on Monday, August 9, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Rader and Rev. Gary Walters officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery.
