Max E. Marvin, 86, of Tiffin, passed away Friday evening, January 20, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.
On February 3, 1936 he was born to Earl and Buelah (Hess) Marvin in Hillsdale County, Michigan. He married Mary Masters on April 5, 1958.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary; daughter, Melissa (Roger) Daniel of Tiffin; daughter in law, Jennifer Marvin of Camden, MI; grandchildren, Brent and Bryan Marvin, Lindsay, Emily (Fiancé’ Derek Ridder) and David Daniel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings and a son, Marc Marvin on August 20, 2022.
Max graduated from Camden-Frontier High School and attended Jackson Community College for Electrical Trades. Soon after his wedding in 1959 he was drafted into the U.S Army and was honorably discharged in 1961. He was an electrician at SKD in Jonesville, Michigan and after retiring, moved to Tiffin in 1997 to be closer to family. He lived in Frontier, MI for 36 years, raising Suffolk Sheep, 4-H club leader and coaching baseball. He was a member of the Frontier United Methodist Church.
Max’s wishes were to be cremated and a private family memorial has taken place.
