Patricia K. Tiell

Patricia K. “Pat” Tiell, 72, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022 at The Willows at Tiffin.

She was born on February 8, 1950, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Francis E. and Mary Magdalene “Maggie” (Hammer) Tiell.

She is survived by her son, Steven Patrick (Sarah Wildman) Tiell of Tiffin; brothers, Edward F. (Julie) Tiell of New Riegel, Jim W. Tiell of Fostoria, Bill L. Tiell of Fostoria, Ron J. (Jean) Tiell of Fostoria, Dan J. (Deb) Tiell of New Riegel and Tom A. Tiell of Tiffin; sisters, Janet T. (Norm) Meyer of Ottawa, Barb J. Sauber of FL and Mary Katherine “Kathy” (Michael) Kurtz of Findlay; stepbrother, John (Louise) Lortz of Upper Sandusky; stepsisters, Ruth (Howard) Stultz of Tiffin, Janice (Roger) Mullholand of Carey and Linda (Stephen) Gretzinger of TN; sisters-in-law, Susie Tiell of Fostoria and Carol Tiell of Tiffin; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lewis “Sonny” Tiell, Jerry E. Tiell and Ken C. Tiell; infant sister, Jean Elizabeth Tiell; sister, Rose Ann Tiell; and stepbrother, James Lortz.

Pat was a 1968 graduate of New Riegel High School.  She retired in May of 1998 from Allied Signal in Fostoria after 30 years.   She also worked for SCAT and drove school bus for Hopewell-Loudon School System, volunteered and was a board member at the Fostoria Sharing Kitchen. Pat was a member of All Saints Parish (former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bascom) and she enjoyed woodworking, farming and raising llama’s at her farm, Lady Llama Land.

Her Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at All Saints Parish, New Riegel with Rev. Timothy Kummerer officiating.  A Rosary will be prayed 15 minutes prior to Mass.  Burial will be at a later date in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FACT or Fostoria Sharing Kitchen.
